A Guide to Using the Site

What's New:
- ID Verified! Only ID Verified members can post in message groups or forums.
- Only ID Verified members can choose who views their profile/pictures. Go to: Your Preferences to activate.
- Bigger pictures! New uploaded photos are now 450 pixels wide, instead of 400.
- A wider area for posting forum messages means wider photos: up to 450 pixels wide!
- Easier to post bigger YouTube or any other videos in the forums: up to 450 pixels wide!
- View all forum thread posts while you are creating a response in that thread
- ID Verified members can create a profile of themselves
- Each profile now contains 3 levels or pages. Main profile page features 8 pics instead of 6. The "Click to See More Pics" page now has 24 more pics that you choose. And the newest page, Click to See Even More Pics (Expanded Profile page) contains ALL of your pics.
- Members only. Quickload for all profile & expanded profile pages. When you are logged in, all images load in the background so when you click on a users' other thumbnail photo, the image loads to full size very quickly.
- When browsing the site, you will see the 6 latest baby photos uploaded to OurCuteBabies
- You can view who has you as their favorite and thier online status
- Your Favorites are now sorted alphabetically making it easier to find someone
- Non-verified members can ONLY leave profile comments for non-verified members
- Non-verified members can leave poll comments or comments on our editorial pages
- Members search now features more information on the search results
- Streamlined blogs. You're now only one click away from posting on your blog. And the summary format allows easier browsing.

Some Helpful Tips for Newbies:
Register first, then log in and start uploading your baby and family photos so that you can
start enjoying the site. Please help us create a family-friendly site by
entering your information correctly and building a profile that other
members, family and friends will enjoy visiting day in and day out.
Our standard picture width is 450 pixels wide. When you upload a picture we
automatically resize it down to 450 pixels wide and also create two smaller images.
When you log in, you will see a Member Menu area on the right side of
the page. This is your personal profile area where you can make changes
to your profile, add more pictures and share with your family and
friends your baby's unique URL. Our URL's begin with: www.ourcutebabies.com/baby-photos/YOUR USERNAME.html
Getting Started by Uploading Photos
Once you've registered and confirmed your email, log in with your
user name and head to the Member Menu. Clicking on Your Pictures allows
you to upload and categorize as many photos as you wish.
Categorize Photos
Select a category for each photo that you upload. Selecting the
category displays the photo in the right category and automatically
enters the picture in our free monthly photo contest. You may enter
photos in as many categories as you wish.
Objectionable Photos and Comments
Please, no nudity or cursing! If you see objectionable photos or
comments, click on the tiny Flag link. Clicking the link next to the
questionable photo or comment will automatically remove it from the site
pending our review of the material.
Like a Photo?
While browsing, at any time feel free to leave comments for other members.
Remember, the more comments you leave, the more you will get
back in return! You can add the profile to your favorites list so that
you can visit again by clicking on the link
Keeping Your Comments Private
If you would like to send a member a private message directly to
their email account, simply click on the Your Messages link on the right
sidebar and use the Send a Private Message feature.
Creating a Diary or Blog for Baby
On the right sidebar, click on the link, Your Blog or Diary. Create
a daily or weekly diary for your family and friends to follow the
progress of your baby. Use the diary as a way to chronicle the life of
your baby.
Baby Photo Contest
When you categorize your baby photo, it is automatically entered in
our baby photo contest. As members browse photos by category they can
select their favorite photos. Each photo is limited to one vote per day
per member. At the end of the month we tabulate the results and send out
certificates for the top three winners in each category. You can
visit the Baby Photo Contest page to view the top 25 photos in each
category. Results are tabulated in real time!
Message Boards or Forums
We encourage you to participate and post in our message boards.
Besides providing your expertise on the many parenting related boards,
join in on the entertainment and game boards. We only ask that you be
respectful of the opinions of others, and not attack anyone personally
for their viewpoints. We currently have two private message boards that
can only be viewed and posted to by invitation only. If you are
interested in joining a support group for parents that have lost a baby,
or for parents going through relationship problems, email us asking to
join.
Chat
Pop in to a chat session and make new friends. We ask that you keep
the sessions friendly.
Parenting and Pregnancy Center
Besides providing a venue for moms to show off pictures of their sonograms,
our site provides a Parenting and Pregnancy Center with articles aimed
at providing useful information. Feel free to leave your opinions after
reading any of the articles.
Modeling and Pageant Center
Think of the Baby Modeling and Pageant Center as a resource for
valuable information and insights into the world of baby modeling and
pageants. We update the area weekly with relevant articles. Again, feel
free to leave opinions after reading any of the articles.
Photos of the Day
Each day we select 10 pictures as the Photos of the Day. The
pictures are randomly selected and you are notified by email at
approximately 12:30 am PST.
Birthday Babies
Make sure your baby's birthday is accurate! Each day we send out
birthday greetings and feature all of the birthday babies on the site.
Browse nearly 300,000 Baby Photos!
That's a lot of baby photos. That's why we have broken down the
pictures into some 40 categories. You can also view baby profiles by
state, by country or by month and year of birth. Here's a tip. If you
click on the Browse Newest Pics link you will see the newest pictures
posted on the site...some just a few seconds old.
Polls
Here's your chance to vote and express your opinions! We change
topics regularly. Access the polls by clicking on the Community link.
Members Search: Find a Friend or a Play Date for Baby
Using our Members Search link allows you to find other parents
located in your city, state or country. You can even find other babies
in your age group by city, state or country. We also have message boards
based on interests so that making friends and finding play dates are
easier. Visit our Groups link and find other members with similar
interests.
There is much to do and we look forward to seeing you each day. We have
a great community of parents and babies. Join us and remember that the
one thing that makes this site unique is the love that members have for
all babies and EACH OTHER! We do not tolerate those that cannot be respectful of others and will delete their accounts.
