I have a Cannon PowerShot A 650
I really like my camera but I don't think they make it anymore. I know you can still buy it on Ebay and Amazon though.

I love Canons! My point and shoot is a PowerShot A530 and I just recently got my Rebel Xsi.

Macro is for those really close shots that you want to take. Example:

I am not a fan of sony products because they use there own accessories for everything. Even the memory card is different and runs more expensive. All the cords and everything are different. That has alway been my big beef with sony.

I LOVE my nikon.
I have a 8.1 MP Nikon Coolpix S51

http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Nikon/Product-Archive/Digital-Cam era/25574/COOLPIX-S51.html

I've also had a Canon powershot that I LOVED, a fugifilm that I loved (it quit working), Samsung that was ok, a kodak that was ok, and a SVP that SUCKED.

IMO, if you want point and shoot, get a nikon :)

I would LOVE to have a DSLR, and I will one day :)
