I thought banks don't make errors???!!! Im confused, and worried.

B ticked me off by going to the casino which he knows I hate, well he went and to kiss my azz he gave me most of what he won. Doesn't change the fact that he went, grrr...Of course the stupid casino always pays in cash. I went to to the bank to put it in my account today, before 3pm so itd be in there and it would show up today instead of tomorrow. I plan on ordering the kids some clothes with it online. But it has to be in my account in order to do that! lol Anyhoo, I went on my banks website to check my account and balance my checkbook, and that deposit says DEPOSIT PENDING, wtf? Ive never seen that before. Beside it in the desciption it says TELLER-NO COMMENT. Im confused, why they heck would it say that??? Its NEVER said that before and really upsets me cuz now I have to wait until morning to call the bank to see whats up. Maybe its nothing, and itll clear tomorrow but still, its driving me crazy. if you deposited cash, it should show up!! idk~~call them first thing in the morning~~you have your receipt of deposit that they give back? good luck girl~i would be mad as heck as well!! Post a Reply

yea, it should have shown up if it was cash. But some banks may want to check the envelope before they process it. IDK....my bank will show the deposit right away if it's a check or cash. Hope it all gets squared away for you. happy shopping :-) Post a Reply

I know, and one thing I dont get is, Ive put more than that in cash in there before. Its been a long time, but it was WAY more and it showed up immediately!!!! Im p!ssed...ungh!!!!!!! Post a Reply

Yah, banks DO make errors.. all the time! My bff is a Personal Banker

for Chase, and I'm always shoving people her way, lol! I've made deposits before and they put it into someone else's acct!!! Then told me it would be days before they could find out where it went.. and that if I had any overdraft fees b/c of it, they would refund the fees.. *DUH* of course you will!!! But in your case, cash should have shown up immediately.. so just have your receipt on hand when you call the bank in the morning! Good luck! well I used to be a bank teller so I have a question did you deposit it at a window with a teller or at the ATM? The only thing I can think of if you deposited cash at a window with a teller is that maybe the teller already had switched to next day but regardless Cash should show right away.......... Miles1222, it was at the window. I called them and they said I deposited it after 3 and that its in my account but it wont show up online or I cant use my card until after 7 tonight when the online banking updates. REALLLLLLY irritating because it was only 2:51pm, yeah I know, right before the 3pm deadline...grrr....I swear....annoying as heck, I was soooo ready to do shopping last night, now I dont think Im in the mood, lol. Yeah Im a night owl and the Hubbs hates it! But heck, I stay at home all day with the kids, I don't have to get up at 8am every morning like he does! lol Post a Reply
