1st Birthday Gift Ideas - Share your thoughts?
I still have a bit of time to plan and buy gifts since Paisleigh won't be turning the big 1 until November 14th. But since we don't have a ton of money, I'd like to start now by purchasing things here and there.

Do your babies own any of these, by any chance?
Do they look like something a 1 year old would enjoy playing with?

Thanks for the input!

I went ahead and ordered all, but the Rocking Lamb. That's a little too costly for the time being.

Anyone have any other ideas on a good gift?

For Mackenzie's 1st Birthday we bought the Push Around Buggy. She loved it! Although 2 years later after many many uses, it's about on it's last leg! lol

She also got a ball pit that she loved to be in.

Is the ball popper a thing with air that shoots the balls out? It plays music too?

BuggaBoo,
That's cute!

I thought about a ball pit, but have no idea where I'd keep it. Not much space in this here house. Both girls would have a blast with it, though!

I really like the bus with the animals. Kayley got the ball popper for her first birthday and loved it. Just be careful they don't put other toys in there that are to big to go through the tunnel. Kayley put a fake orange in hers and we couldn't get it out. The ball pit was a huge hit with Ryan when he was little. Does she have a ride on toy? Kayley likes hers as well, but she got it when she was about a year and a half.

Caleigh has a ball popper. She's gone and stuck many different objects in hers, luckily we were able to get them all out. :)

LOL! the arm, of course. Cal has managed to get hers stuck too, trying to fish out other things she jammed in it.

Wow I think the ball poppers are famous for the stuck toys and arms! Brianna got one and loved it forever then one day her little arm got stuck and I guess it scared her because she threw it in the trash can! She got one of the power wheel little quad four wheelers and loved it...it has the one button that they push with their thumb so she caught on really fast.

you can find cheaper rocking toys. I always see them at kmart. They have one that looks like the baby einstein catapillar.
For michael's 1st bday we got him lots of new books and some puzzles and some movies. i forget what else actually. probably some trucks

Cutiepants,
That Lamb Rocker is $118 dollars, which really isn't bad at all, but I'd just finished spending 100 something on the rest of the toys and need to wait a while before I spend any more.
